Jan Bendik is the winner of EPT Season 12. He is one of the most established and successful players on the tour. He has been to an EPT final table twice and has previously won the EPT Player of the Year title back in Season 9.
On Sunday, he beat a field of 1,098 players to win EUR961,800 at the Monte-Carlo Casino. It was the highest-ever payout for a Main Event at the EPT Grand Final, and it made him the first Brazilian to win the title.
The European Poker Tour continues in Prague this week, with the EPT Prague Poker Festival kicking off at the Hilton Hotel on December 12. The Prague Poker Festival features some of the most exciting action and big-name players in poker. In addition to the EPT Prague Main Event, the festival will also feature the EUR50,000 Super High Roller and the EUR2,200 Eureka High Roller. Other special events will include a charity table tennis challenge by Right To Play Ambassador Darius Knight and the opportunity to win a weekend away for two and EUR1,000 worth of tournament credits.
